Ben is a solicitor working in commercial litigation, wills and estates, and general litigation.
Ben also advises the family law section of the firm on complex trust, company and financial arrangements.
Ben is an outstanding scholar. He was awarded the University Medal by Griffith University, Queensland in 2008. Ben was the top graduate in the combined Bachelor of Laws (Hons)/ Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree and received the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Ben has an interesting background. He has worked in the banking and telecommunications sectors, has been a director of a private company, and has worked in the horse racing industry for the legendary Bart Cummings and John Borham Racing Stables.
Since joining us Ben has worked in a wide variety of litigation matters drawing on his business experience, and on his legal research and accounting skills.
Ben is meticulous with excellent forensic skills. A tough negotiator, he nonetheless understands the costs of litigation, and uses his skills to resolve matters by agreement where this provides his clients with a better result. He has a friendly and approachable manner.
Ben is a highly effective member of our litigation team.
