Gabriel’s career includes:
9 years practising with the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office providing legal services to the State Government of NSW in matters involving the constitution, and the powers and responsibilities of State Government. Whilst with that office Gabriel also acted in litigation in various jurisdictions, including Administrative Law, Community Law and Commercial Law matters, and Native Title proceedings.
Gabriel has also been a solicitor with the Legal Aid Commission providing Criminal Law services, and also with the Prisoners Legal Service, the Aboriginal Legal Service and the Western Aboriginal Legal Service.
