John Koumarelas was admitted to practise as a lawyer in 1991. Before joining Craddock Murray Neumann in 1993, he worked with other city-based law firms and held a position with the Australian Securities Commission.
Since joining Craddock Murray Neumann, John has acted for major corporations, government departments, small businesses and individuals in debt recovery, commercial and insolvency litigation and in building litigation matters – and has also acted in anti-discrimination and employment law cases.
John is currently working as a senior lawyer in the debt recovery and insolvency law practice at Craddock Murray Neumann. He attributes his success as a litigator to his pragmatic approach to litigation. John has acted in thousands of cases (no exaggeration). However he particularly enjoys the process of negotiation and always remains affable and calm. This assists him to negotiate practical and achievable deals, particularly to recover debt and resolve legal disputes.
John also speaks Greek to a conversational level.
