Michael was admitted to practise as a solicitor in 2003 and as a migration agent in 2004.  Michael holds a Masters Degree in law, specialising in immigration law as part of his Administrative (Government) Law major.

Michael specialises in migration law and in Administrative law. He has successfully handled numerous cases for those migrating to Australia on the basis of their skills, business history or employment in Australia. 
 
Michael is also able to provide comprehensive advice to employers on sponsorship of overseas employees and the obligations that will be imposed on the employers as a consequence of the sponsorship. 
 
In addition, Michael has considerable experience in acting for people who wish to migrate to, or remain in Australia on the basis of their relationship with an Australian - family reunion and spouse cases - or on humanitarian grounds (refugee cases). 
 
Craddock Murray Neumann is proud to be sponsored by the Department of Immigration to provide subsidised immigration law services to those in detention and to needy and deserving applicants outside of detention. Michael supervises much of the work of the team which provides these services and has established an extensive body of information about the countries of origin of those we represent.
 
Combined with his skills as an advocate, Michael’s extensive knowledge of immigration procedure enables him to provide effective representation and sound advice to those who engage his services.
 
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked in a number of prominent Sydney CBD firms, where he practised in the areas of civil litigation, contract law, commercial litigation and immigration law. 
 
In the course of his career Michael has provided legal advice to private and corporate clients in a variety of industries such as IT, medical and HR, as well as government authorities.  Through his skills and experience, Michael is able to provide innovative and practical legal solutions for business and commercial clients as well as for private individuals seeking help in applying for a visa, or challenging a decision of the Department of Immigration to refuse a visa.
